Class Descriptions

Abs – A focused abdominal & core training session using a variety of tools, which may include stability balls, BOSU, medicine balls, and weights.

BodyJam – The cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance styles and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as on breaking a sweat. Lose yourself to dance!

BodyCombat Express – The empowering group fitness 30 minute cardio workout where you are totally unleashed.  This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.

BodyPump – The ultimate barbell workout. Using low weight loads & high repetitions, you’ll burn fat & calories, gain strength, and quickly produce lean body muscle conditioning.

BodyShred – A high-intensity, fun, and effective interval/circuit workout, divided into sections of 3 minutes of strength moves, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of core.  You will shed fat, define muscle, rev up your metabolism, and transform the look of your entire physique!

Boot Camp – A circuit training workout that challenges your entire body, utilizing any or all of the following: body weight exercises, strength training, agility drills, cardio training and/or core stabilization exercises. This class uses a variety of fitness equipment!

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu – An emphasis in sport Brazilian jiu-jitsu.  Appropriate for all fitness levels.  The sessions include vigorous physical conditioning, positional drilling, and sparring in which each participant tries to submit their opponent using any legal technique.

Cardio Kickboxing – A total body workout combining the speed & strength of boxing, the focus & control of martial arts, and the grace & rhythm of dance. 

Cycle – A great cardio workout of simulated-road bike riding to energizing music, appropriate for all fitness levels. The instructors will lead you on a ride designed to improve your fitness on a variety of levels. (Express is a 45-min ride, HRT is focused on Heart Rate Training, and Endurance is a 75-min ride!)

Dance Party – A fusion of ZUMBA® and POUND FITNESS™ or whatever style of dance the instructor feels like throwing your way that day!

DanceSport Endurance – A medium impact, high-energy workout designed to help increase endurance, torso, strength flexibility, and a sense of rhythm while learning the basic movements of several ballroom dances. See www.dancesportendurance.com

Flow Yoga – Movement is synchronized to the breath as you “flow” from one pose to another.  Appropriate for all fitness levels.

Get Moving – Low-impact, low-intensity, beginner-paced classes.  We offer a variety of these beginner classes:  Yoga, Tai Chi, Group Ex 101, and Foam Rolling.

Guided Meditation – Reap the many benefits of meditation (better concentration, reduced anxiety, lower blood pressure, and so much more) through this guided meditation practice.  Includes various meditation techniques, including mindfulness, mantras, and visualization. No experience necessary.  Beginners are welcome!

Hatha Yoga – Combines physical exercise and mental discipline, with the goal of integrating and invigorating both body and mind. It consists primarily of poses, known as asanas, designed to increase strength and flexibility, and controlled breathing, known as pranayamic breathing. Hatha yoga poses range from novice-level poses to poses that can challenge even
an experienced practitioner. Movement and breathing are used together to help you flow smoothly from one pose to the other.

HIIT– High-intensity interval training designed to significantly increase your metabolism and allow you to burn fat more efficiently.

INSANITY – Max Interval Training, which keeps your body working at maximum capacity through your entire workout. You keep pushing your limits so your body has to adapt.

Kick box Circuit – A circuit training class with Kickboxing as the cardio intervals.

Latin Dance Fundamentals – Learn the basics of Latin dancing!  This class will get you ready for the night club OR your next wedding! A new dance genre is featured each quarter.

Metabolic Conditioning – Boost metabolism early in the day…burn up to 500 calories in 55 minutes,cardio respiratory conditioning, 5000+ steps, equal to running 3-4 miles running/walking/jogging using circuit training, body weight exercises with variations for ALL fitness levels.

Pilates Barre – Combines Pilates and ballet moves to give you beautiful, sculpted, lean muscles without the impact and injuries dancers endure.

Power Yoga – A vigorous, fitness-based approach to vinyasa-style yoga, with an emphasis on strength and flexibility.

Slow Flow Yoga – Experience slow, mindful transitions from pose to pose in this slow flow yoga practice. We’ll include fluid movements, range of motion work, stretching and gentle conditioning. All to help you relax, release and rejuvenate. A perfect class for those who are new to yoga or who want a slower paced yoga experience.

Sports Yoga – Simple, straightforward, no-nonsense stretching & strengthening.

Step– A high energy class that uses raised step benches with moderate choreography to increase cardiovascular fitness.

Stretch, Breathe, Relax – This yoga-inspired class includes stretching, range of motion and mood-balancing breath practices.  Perfect for anyone who wants to improve their flexibility and mobility and/or who needs a time out.  Also, a good introduction to some basic yoga poses.

Tai Chi– An ancient form of mind-body exercise that creates balance and symmetry using a series of flowing movements to bring strength and flexibility to the body.

Zumba® – The Original Dance-Fitness Party! Are you ready to party yourself into shape? Forget the workout, just lose yourself in the music! Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats.

Zumba® Strong – It’s not a dance class! It’s a revolutionary high-intensity workout led by music to help you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.

Small Group Training

MetCON 30 – “Different trainer, never the same workout.” Change your body type using a variety of training methods.

Agility Training – “Move better. Feel better.” Work on muscle activation, explosive performance, and agility to improve functional fitness, boost metabolism, and decrease injury.

Functional Circuits – “Training for real-life activities.” Circuit of strength and conditioning exercises.

OPT: Optimal Performance Training – “Redefining your potential.” Progressive training for measurable improvements in strength, stamina, and mobility.
